About SCACVPR

The South Carolina Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (SCACVPR)  is the state affiliate of the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. We are a nonprofit association dedicated to improving the quality of life for our patients. We are a multidisciplinary organization, comprised of PhDs, registered nurses, physicians, dietitians, and exercise physiologists who share the common goal of reducing disability from cardiovascular and pulmonary disease.

The SCACVPR is comprised of approximately 40 Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programs in the state. We strive to promote high standards of care, and foster the exchange of information and education for the betterment of treatment to patients. Our organization serves resource to its members to share ideas and coordinate efforts that will help to reduce the impact of cardiovascular disease in the state.
